WHAT TYPE OF YOGA IS OFFERED AT YOGA SPOT MEADVILLE?

Yoga Spot Meadville offers a wide variety of yoga classes ranging from vinyasa, ashtanga, and flow style classes, to gentle yoga, yoga for all, and restorative. Please head over to our class descriptions page to learn more about what each class offers. We encourage you to try any class that interests you!


I’VE NEVER DONE YOGA BEFORE. WHERE SHOULD I START?

Congratulations on having the strength and courage to start a yoga practice - you’ve come to the right SPOT! We recommend starting with one of our Gentle yoga classes or Yoga For All classes, which give a more foundational explanation of the poses and breathwork. Let the instructor know that this is your first class and whether you have any injuries or health issues so they can make the class as comfortable and enjoyable for you as possible.

IT’S MY FIRST CLASS. WHAT SHOULD I BRING?


Please arrive at the studio at least 10 minutes early. This gives us time to check you into our system, sign the liability waiver, show you around the studio, and answer any questions that you may have. Please bring a yoga mat and towel in case you get sweaty (we have a wide array of yoga props for students to use, including yoga mats if you forget yours), a water bottle, and wear comfortable clothing. Yoga is done barefoot. We respectfully ask that your feet are clean.

 

DO YOU HAVE A CANCELLATION POLICY?

Yes, due to limited class size and to ensure there is an opportunity for everyone to practice, we have a 1-hour cancellation policy. If you have pre-registered for class and will not be able to attend class, please cancel at least 1 hour ahead of time. If you cancel less than 1-hour prior to class, you will be charged for the class. Members will incur a $10 late cancellation fee.

 

DO YOU HAVE A LATE POLICY?

In an effort to create a sacred space and for your safety, Yoga Spot Meadville has a 5-minute late policy. If you arrive within the first 5 minutes of class, please wait outside the door for the instructor to let you in. We understand that life happens (traffic, work, etc.). If you are over 5 minutes late, we invite you to look at our schedule and to come back as soon as you can!

 

DO YOU HAVE SHOWERS OR CHANGING ROOMS?

We do not have showers at our studio. However, we do have one changing room and one restroom.

 

DO YOU OFFER ANY DISCOUNTS?

We offer student, veteran, and senior (65+) discounts. Valid ID must be presented at the studio prior to your first class after purchasing a discounted drop-in, class pack, or membership on our website or on the Mindbody App.

 

DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS OR TRANSFERS?

We do not offer refunds or transfers on any class passes. Unlimited memberships are autopay and billed monthly and are also non-refundable.

 

HOW DO I BUY AN AUTOPAY MEMBERSHIP?

Autopay memberships such as our 3-month unlimited or 12-month unlimited memberships are billed on a monthly basis starting from the date of purchase. Autopay memberships can be purchased on the Mindbody App (from the Pricing screen), at the studio, or by clicking the sign-up button below. If you plan to take classes at the studio 2 or more times a week, this is the most cost-effective option for you. For more information head over to our Pricing page.
