Lindsay Henry

Lindsay is the owner and founder of Yoga Spot Meadville. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 500) through Yoga Alliance. She completed her 200-hour teacher training through Yoga & Ayurveda Center in December 2020 and her 300-hour training with Mark Stephens in April 2022. She has completed additional trainings with David Garrigues and Schuyler Grant. She began practicing yoga in 2018 following reconstructive ankle surgery. She quickly fell in love with the meditative movements and physical benefits of yoga and has been practicing ever since. As a former college athlete, she was drawn to the challenge of vigorous practices like Ashtanga and Vinyasa but quickly found that, unlike any sport or workout, yoga helped her calm the mind and connect to the breath.

Lindsay enjoys developing creative sequences that allow students to explore and challenge themselves within the practice in a way that is sustainable, well-informed, and based on functional anatomy & mobility. She teaches blended styles of yoga including but not limited to Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Slow Flow, and Yoga For All.

Through the creation of Yoga Spot Meadville, she hopes to provide opportunities for the local yoga community to practice together and an opportunity for the rest of the community to discover the transformative effects of yoga. When she is not practicing or teaching yoga, she enjoys paddle boarding, hiking, and traveling with her partner and dog.
